FAQ.

>    Can I start using your services immediately?
Yes, subscription gets you immediate access.

>    How many times can I use your service in a month?
MedCierge services are free and unlimited for our members and their dependents.

>    My insurance company gives me the same thing for free. Why do I need MedCierge?

“Free” usually refers to no monthly cost but then they charge as much as $65 each time you use the service. Plus, MedCierge offers a whole lot more than just telemedicine.

>    I’ve been offered a special rate, do I get to keep that rate for the year?
Yes, you are locked in to your subscription rate for 12-months.

>    What kind of prescriptions can you fill?
We can fill most prescriptions.

Exceptions include all controlled substances, such as narcotics, and medicines which are prone to abuse, such as sleep aids, antidepressants and anxiety medications. This is true for all telemedicine programs.

>    Does this mean I never have to go to the doctor’s again?
Telemedicine cannot replace all in-person visits. But given that many of us cannot go to a doctor or hospital right now, telemedicine is often the only way to get instant access to medical professionals. In many cases, you can also arrange a virtual visit for a doctor to make a visual diagnosis.

>    Can telemedicine doctors write me an FMLA letter?
It is up to your employer to accept or reject telemedicine as a source for FMLA letters.

>    What if I need to be referred to a specialist?

In most cases a specialist needs to see a patient to diagnose them. The best way to find a specialist is through our My Advocate service—they will find you the right specialist at the best cost.

>    Does MedCierge work with my HSA or FSA?
Telehealth or telemedicine is eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Telehealth or telemedicine is not eligible for reimbursement with a limited care flexible spending account (LCFSA)or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).

>    If I’m not satisfied, can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, of course. However, to avoid abuse of our service, discontinued members will not be able to sign up again for 6 months.
